(NOTE: The following is completely true information that has been revealed in modern
DCU continuity. None of it was made up.)
- The Martian Manhunter's favourite treat is an Oreo cookie.
- Batman's favourite Woody Allen movie is "Crimes and Misdemeanours."
- Superman was born on Earth, not Krypton.
- In the DCU, there have been Internet rumours of a possible connection between billionaire Bruce Wayne and the Batman. The rumours were that Wayne was the one who provided Batman with all of his fantastic technology. However, most don't pay attention to these rumours, as they find it impossible to believe that someone as intelligent and self-sufficient as the Batman would allow himself to depend on an aloof simpleton such as Wayne.
- Kyle Rayner's ring is different from other GL rings in that it will only work for him and the deceased Hal Jordan, who was its former wielder.
- Most Leaguers (current and former) don't know the secret identities of the Batman and Superman. And no one knows all of the Martian Manhunter's secret identities.
- The public believes that both Superman and the Martian Manhunter have no secret identities and act as heroes 24 hours a day.
- When the dying GL Abin Sur sought a successor, the ring's first choice was Clark Kent. But Sur realised that he was a Kryptonian and discarded him, believing that Earth's protector should be an Earthman. His ring then found two more candidates: Guy Gardner and Hal Jordan. Because he was closer to Sur, Hal was chosen as the new Green Lantern.
- Luke Carr was a technician at S.T.A.R. Labs, though no one called him "Snapper" anymore. Currently he is off in space with a bunch of aliens called the Blasters.
- The public believes that novelist/reporter Clark Kent and the hero Superman are best friends (they've been photographed together frequently).
- Batman uses the cover identity of hoodlum "Matches" Malone to move about the underworld without arousing suspicion.
- Superman has killed in the past. During an adventure in a parallel universe, he was forced to execute three superhuman terrorists.
- During his leadership days with the Justice League, Batman once got into a fight with team-mate Guy Gardner. The fight lasted one punch, with Batman knocking the GL unconscious, much to the rest of the League's delight.
- The night his parents died, Bruce Wayne saw the movie "The Mark of Zorro." Needless to say, the title character had some influence on the eight-year-old boy.
- Barry Allen gained his powers on April 23 at 6:15 pm.
- Martian Manhunter has been a member of nearly every incarnation of the Justice League of America to date.
- In their second encounter, Superman greeted Wonder Woman with a kiss and embrace. While she admitted a mutual attraction, the two eventually decided to just be friends.
- When the JLA had to fight a group of amazons, the Martian Manhunter infiltrated the enemy camp by transforming into a female version of himself.
- When Superman first met Hal Jordan, the Man of Steel was still unaware of his true origins and asked GL for help. With his ring, Hal learned the truth but decided not to depress his friend with the sad news that he was the last survivor of a dead world. He merely said he'd found nothing.
- At one point, Luthor hired one of his scientists to analyse all data on Superman and those connected to him so that they could see if they learned anything valuable. The scientist deduced that Superman and Clark Kent were the same person but Luthor rejected this theory. He could not believe that a man of Superman's power would design to lead a normal life. He then ordered the data erased and fired the scientist, who would later die with her secret.
- During the time after Barry Allen's death (and before brushing with the Speed Force), Wally West needed to consume enormous quantities of junk food to sustain his strength. This was due to his accelerated metabolism burning up energy whenever he used his speed.
- Diana both is and is not the first Wonder Woman. See, there was a Wonder Woman around during the Golden Age but she disappeared a while back. Then Diana appeared years later. And even later, her mother Hippolyta temporarily assumed the role. Then Lyta travelled back into the past with Jay Garrick and joined the JSA as the Golden Age Wonder Woman.
- Batman's parents were murdered on June 26 at 10:47 pm.
- Former male Leaguers Obsidian and Nuklon were very close friends. So close in fact that some of their team-mates mistakenly believed them to be a couple (oops!).
- Barry Allen is responsible for the JLA round table and personalised chairs. He ordered them specially when the original team was just moving into the Secret Sanctuary.
- Wally West once won the lottery. Then he lost it all in bad stock picks.
- Gotham Police Commissioner Gordon has known Batman's identity since Year One.
- Former Leaguers Booster Gold and Blue Beetle once used League funding to open up their own casino island.
