COMMENTS

This issue leads directly into JLA PARADISE LOST #1.

The JLA teleport device uses ambient matter which does not exist localised at any one point which can used as a carrier wave for solid matter to act as a four-dimensional revolving door.

After using vibrations to cancel out Azmodel he will have to use a flesh suit to rematerialise in the Earthly plane.

Six members are required to inaugurate a new member.

SYNOPSIS

The truth about Asmodel is revealed, he seeks to rebel and thinks that he can succeed where Lucifer failed. While J'onn takes on Azmodel, Green Lantern runs interference with the Bull Host while Zauriel and Wonder Woman attack Azmodel's Battle Chariot in order to turn off the energy pyramid that covers San Francisco.

Meanwhile on the moon Superman uses the generators on the JLA Watchtower and his own energy powers to give the Moon magnetic poles thereby repelling itself from the Earth and assuming the correct orbit contrary to the efforts of Abnegazar and Ghast. With the Energy Pyramid down Superman wrestles Azmodel to a stand while Green Lantern constructs a device with his ring. Powered by the Flash's superspeed it cancels out the angelic vibrations of the Bull host, literally wiping them away.

Zauriel declines JLA membership. Later the JLA (minus J'onn who is resting) all gather together to initiate Green Arrow, but are surprised by the Key who manages to subdue them all instantly.

QUOTE

"And later, when it's all over, I ask Superman how he managed to do what he did. And I know that the moon's gravity makes him six times more Superman there than on Earth but..."

"He smiles and it's that one smile he has, the one that reminds you he's not really from here. 'There were large forces at work today, Wally' he says. Go Figure." - The Flash
