With the success of the Overpower Card game and the Justice League revival it was to be expected that a Justice League Overpower Expansion deck be released.

In the Overpower game you take control of a team of superheroes as represented by a deck of cards that includes four character cards (three main characters and one reserve), plus various "Special" cards. The special cards are the main thrust of the game, with each character having a possible five different special cards with art by leading industry artists. For example the Martian Manhunter’s Special Cards are: Alien Physique, Malleable Form, Martian Strength, Martian Vision and Telepathic Probe. The object to the game is to then either compete the specified mission or to knock out all of your opponents characters.

The complete rules to overpower are on the official site.

In the original Overpower your characters were represented by three attributes (Energy, Fighting and Power) now with the introduction of DC Overpower there is a new attribute: Intellect.

The original DC Overpower release brought you the world’s of Superman and Batman plus their respective supporting casts. It took the release of the JLA Overpower expansion to fully open up the DC Universe characters to the game. Unfortunately no new DC Overpower expansions have been announced.
