In
the past there have been numerous Justice League toylines under the banner
of DC Superheroes. The latest toyline under the Total Justice banner contains
some of the most "artistic" toys around with a definite style and
flair.
The backstory behind the Total Justice toyline was developed into a three issue mini-series set in present continuity between Midsummer's Nightmare and the start of the most recent JLA series. It featured a long forgotten outpost of Darkseid's Parademons on an island just off the coast of Mexico. Robin and his father are marooned on the island and when Flash and Green Lantern investigate they find themselves without powers. Trapped on the island the heroes are joined by Aquaman and Batman in trying to find the source of the field that nullifies their powers. Meanwhile the Martian Manhunter and Blue Beetle use Martian technology to create "Fractile Armour" - naturally gelatinous it heightens the abilities of the wearer. Delivered to the trapped heroes the armour melds itself to the natural abilities of the wearer counter-acting the nullification field and allowing them to win the day against Darkseid. Duff as it may sound, the series is actually well written and featured possibly the past appearance of the JL: Task Force and Extreme Justice. Also of note was Mike the intellectual Parademon.
Series Four: Known bootlegs of the Total Justice line include the Total Justice Movie Collection. These seem to be Batman rips off from other lines packaged using Total Justice artwork. The official Kenner/Hasbro Batman: Total Justice can be found on their official site Batman A page devoted to Batman toys inculding the Total Justice Range.
