• Identity: Bruce Wayne is an internaionally recognizes playboy and industrialist (cross between Bill Gates and Paris Hilton); His identity as the Batman is something of an open secret amongst, those who know include his closest allies (the Robins, Batgirls, Leslie Thompkins and Alfred Pennyworth), core members of JLA and Teen Titans, the elite foes (Ra’s Al Ghul, the Riddler, Hush, Hugo Strange and Bane), a select group of girlfriends (Catwoman, Talia, Silver St Cloud, Sasha Bordeaux). It has variously been hinted that Jim Gordon and/or the Joker may have worked it out.
• Legal: US citizen with no known criminal record; Wayne was framed for the murder of ex-girlfriend Vesper Fairchild and spent several months on the run before being exonerated; as a known vigilantie Batman is either hunted or unofficially tolerated by the Gotham City PD depending on the incumbent Police Commissioner.

Bruce Wayne is a thirty-something white male with blue eyes and black hair. The basic Batman costume is a grey (light black) body suit worn with dark black gloves, boots, trunks, scalloped cape and eared cowl. The suit it completed by the world famous utility belt. The chest emblem is a black bat. The weight of the cape, the contents of the utility belt, and the properties of the suit are adjusted by Wayne to match whatever environment or situation he expects to encounter on a case-by-case basis.
